February update

Hey guys,

Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve updated! Basically, there are a bunch of things in the works, but I don’t like posting about what’s happening until it’s 100% confirmed. That said, there has been some good things going on that I just haven’t considered to be major enough to post an entire entry about… here’s what they are:

After my last post, we continued rehearsing until the middle of December, and then took a 3 week Christmas break. During the break, I went back to Orlando and basically spent the time visiting with my family and friends, and enjoying the holidays.

When I returned in January, we resumed rehearsing for our showcase (the date for that is still not set yet though). We also did a group photo shoot at the end of January… we finally got the photos back last week to pick out our favorites, so hopefully I’ll be able to post some of them soon.

Right now I’m actually posting from the set of our music video for “Fantasy”. Our call time was 9am (it’s 1:18 right now) but we still haven’t started actually shooting becaues they’re still setting up the lighting… I’m so excited to be here! They told me I can’t bring my video camera on set, but I might try to shoot a quick video on my cell phone for your guys from here.

Besides the group, I’ve also been writing and recording some new music for other artists… I recently wrote two songs for Daniel Patrick Ellis, called “Got Me Wrong” and “Closer”. And even though the songs aren’t for my music career, I might post some clips of my demo’s of them just so you guys can have some new music to listen to until my group officially releases our stuff.

Anyway, they just told us it’s ten minutes till we shoot, so I guess I gotta go. I’ll post some more later this week or early next week to keep you guys updated. Also, I made a “status” box in the upper left corner (under my picture), so now when I’m doing things that aren’t worthy of an entire post, I can just update that. =)

The song is called “Got Me Wrong”… I wrote it and produced the vocals, and the track was produced by CeeFix Productions. It was written for another artist, Daniel Patrick Ellis, and you can hear his version on his MySpace page.
